Monday 3 October 2022 (D)


On arrival into Auckland, make your way to the Heritage Hotel, set within one of the city’s most recognisable historic landmark buildings. The iconic Farmers department store is great place to explore Auckland from. This evening meet your tour leader and group for a welcome dinner and drink.

Tuesday 4 October 2022 (B,D)


This morning we depart Auckland and travel through the picturesque countryside of Waitomo, paying a visit to the Waitomo Caves.

Later we check into the hotel for some free time before heading out to dinner. Enter the world of Mitai, and learn about the history of this area which was once fl ourished in villages. Watch the fi erce warriors in traditional dress paddle an ancient warrior canoe (waka) down the Waio-whiro stream.

Wednesday 5 October 2022 (B)


Today, we enjoy a full day exploring Rotorua. We visit Whakarewarewa and New Zealand’s Agrodome.

Thursday 6 October 2022 (B,L)


This morning we depart after breakfast and head south towards Wellington. From Lambton Quay, the iconic red Wellington Cable Car heads to the Wellington Botanic Gardens. We enjoy a small visit to the botanic gardens before we check into the hotel for free time.

Friday 7 October 2022 (B,L,D)


We depart Wellington and board the Interislander Ferry, connecting our North Island and South Island together since 1962.

Our Interislander trip includes access to the Premium Lounge includes complimentary hot and cold food and drinks in a relaxing child-free lounge.

We arrive into Nelson and enjoy a locally sourced dinner and wine.

Saturday 8 October 2022 (B)


Today we visit Abel Tasman National Park, renowned for its golden beaches, granite cliff s, and worldfamous coast track. An open day pass with Wilson’s Abel Tasman allows you to choose how far you cruise and walk. Enjoy wine tasting on the way back to the hotel.

Sunday 9 October 2022 (B,D)


We depart Nelson and cruise along the coast line, stopping at Punakaiki Rocks. Enjoy some local pancakes for lunch before continuing on to Hokitika. Tonight we enjoy dinner at Stumpers Cafe.

Monday 10 October 2022 (B)


This morning we visit Hokitika Gorge before travelling to Greymouth, a small coastal town on the West Coast, where we will depart on the TranzAlpine Express. Experience one of the world’s greatest train journeys. We’ll traverse the majestic Canterbury Plains and Southern Alps on the journey of a lifetime. On arrival into Christchurch we transfer to our hotel.

Tuesday 11 October 2022 (B,D)


This morning we enjoy a one hour guided tour of the Botanic Gardens, followed by a day at leisure to explore. Tonight we have an amazing three course dinner and drinks at the Tramways Restaurant. Incorporate fabulous dining with a sightseeing tour showcasing Christchurch’s inner city vibrancy and heritage.

Wednesday 12 October 2022 (B)


Enjoy a beautiful scenic drive passing through Lake Tekapo, the scenery is simply breathtaking. This afternoon, we arrive into the Aoraki Mount Cook National Park which includes the highest peak in Australasia (Mt Cook - 3,755 metres).

Thursday 13 October 2022 (B,D)


Today we depart and head towards Dunedin, a region of unique landscapes and fascinating cultural history. We enjoy a beautiful walk through the Larnach Castle Gardens and tonight a four course ‘trust the chef’ dinner at Larnach Castle.

Friday 14 October 2022 (B,D)


After breakfast we depart for a leisurley drive towards Te Anau. Te Anau attracts hundreds of thousands of tourists every year thanks to its proximity to well-known attractions like Milford Sound, multiple New Zealand great walks and of course, the famous Te Anau glowworm caves. This tucked-away town has plenty to offer.

Saturday 15 October 2022 (B,L,D)


We enjoy a day fi lled with inspiring scenery and wildlife. Get up close and personal with Milford Sound on a leisurely, interactive cruise of this spectacular fi ord. We enjoy lunch on board before our transfer to Queenstown. Tonight, experience a beautiful ride up the Queenstown Gondola, and enjoy dinner and drinks while taking in the breathtaking view.

Sunday 16 October 2022 (B,D)


A free day to explore Queenstown. Let us book you a jetboat, a day tour or just enjoy a day to explore. This afternoon, we meet at The Winery, Queenstown, for a tasting before our farewell dinner.

The night includes:
  • Gourmet dinner at the Colonel’s Homestead Restaurant
  • Lakeside dining at Walter Peak, away from the bustle of Queenstown
  • Return scenic cruise on board the historic TSS Earnslaw to the Walter Peak High Country Farm
  • Farm demonstration - see the farm dogs at work and experience life at the High Station.
