LANDSCAPER Jason Hodges was born and raised in the leafy Sydney suburb of Willoughby. He grew up with a dad who was a bricklayer, an older brother who is a horticulturalist and two older sisters who are florists. He loved elements of all their professions and chose to pursue a career in landscaping.
As a teenager, Jason studied Landscape Horticulture and Construction at the respected Ryde Tafe (and actually ended up teaching the course there later in life).
Jason is a four-time Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show (MIFGS) Gold medallist. In 2012, he made his Show Garden debut at London’s prestigious Chelsea Flower Show.
Jason is Dad to daughter Heidi. And it’ll be rare to find him without his beloved Fox Terrier, Dannii, at his side. You may have seen Jason on Better Homes & Gardens.
Day 1: 18 September 2021
Depart Tamworth and travel through the Upper Hunter Valley via Murrurundi and Muswellbrook. Arrive into the Hunter Valley for lunch (Included) , Enjoy your first garden visit on this tour as you immerse yourself in the beauty of Hunter Valley Gardens. Be amazed by the sensational sights, colours and fragrances of the ten stunning feature gardens spanning over 60 acres. Enjoy an afternoon private wine tasting at Domain De Bine winery, Before checking into our hotel for the night.

Day 2: 19 September 2021
Depart the Hunter Valley travel to Blue Mountains. NSW and the Blue mountains is magical at any time of year however in spring it is stunning. Enjoy free time for lunch , amazing views at Wentworth Falls before a visit to Everglades Historic House and Gardens in Leura. Continue on to Blackheath for our overnight stay.

Day 3: 20 September 2021
Today we depart and head to Mittagong for lunch. After lunch we continue on to Bowral, nestled at the base of Mount Gibraltar in the Southern Highlands, and famous for its country gardens. Visit Corbett Park to view the stunning tulip displays and there will be opportunity for you to taste some of wine tasting at Centennial Vineyard. 2 Nights Briars Country Lodge Bowral.
Day 4: 21 September 2021 Fitzroy Falls – Berrima – Bowral
Fitzroy Falls – Berrima – Bowral
Today we visit Fitzroy Falls in Morton National Park where a short walk along the boardwalk to the lookout offers spectacular views of the falls and valley. Continue on to Berrima and take time to purchase your own lunch as you explore this historic township. Afterwards wander through the unique cool climate gardens at The Red Cow Farm before returning to our accommodation.
Day 5: 22 September 2021
Bowral – Canberra
This morning visit the esteemed Bradman Museum and the International Cricket Hall of Fame. Continue your journey to Canberra. Venture into Cockington Green Gardens, a delightful and fascinating display of meticulously crafted miniature buildings set within beautifully landscaped gardens.
Day 6: 23 September 2021
Tulip Top Gardens – Canberra Floriade
We start our day at Tulip Top Gardens where the tulips and other spring flowers create a spectacular display with hundreds of blossom trees nestled between the flowers, providing a magic pathway for a stroll through their beautiful grounds. Following morning tea at the gardens, we will continue to Commonwealth Park for Canberra’s Floriade which showcases one million flowers in bloom. Purchase your own lunch before an afternoon visit to the Canberra Glassworks and then Black Mountain where you can take in the 360° views from the Telstra Tower viewing platforms.
Day 7: 24 September 2021
This morning visit Lake Burley Griffin for a beautiful scenic cruise, after this enjoy a 2 course lunch at the Yacht Club. This afternoon enjoy a touch of wine tasting before returning to the accommodation.
Day 8:25 November 2021 (B)
Today we enjoy breakfast and say goodbye to our new friends as we depart for home.
